lack of time

that's my present state / frame of mind... I am like the Papa smurf depicted on the left, snowed under a heap of books... pondering on my MA thesis, to be more precise, on its subject and references... yeah, there is plenty of time one could say - almost two years left to the diploma exam, but still, in my opinion the sooner one starts their work/research, the better it is conducted and, in the same manner, the better its results... one thing is certain, to wit my thesis should be concerned with AIDS/gay literature interrelationship... should I do my research precisely on mere depiction? or should I consider the AIDS discourse (or rather the community's pressure to depict the epidemic course and consequences) as a peculiar continuance of the discourse of self-hatred (which stems from the extrinsic world of course) initiated much earlier? the reason I am waffling about it is that maybe thanks to it I will clarify my own reasoning and inspiration and hence the problem will be solved. Moreover, I forgot to add that the blog will be mainly concerned with fields of my interest, namely: gender studies, queer studies, women's studies, and sometimes with photography/music depending on my frame of mind and current inspiration or some sort of epiphany...:) that will be all for today Ladies and Gentlemen... good night!

the point of departure...

eventually, I managed to start my very own blog... I was struggling with this idea for some time... and here I am... although, it goes without saying (for those who know:) that my presence here won't be too frequent... but still, I will do my best to update the blog asap when inspiration comes... I will also try not to be one-track-minded, but I will definitely be subjective:) that's the usual aim of a blog I guess... so be it then... and let's begin the adventure!
